Marky speak to your local brake and clutch people, they should be able to supply a clutch plate.

In the article below from oldholden.com it lists a 1.8 Toyota Lite Ace clutch plate should fit.

http://holdenpaedia.oldholden.com/index.php/Celica_5_Speed_into_old_Holden

Also a speedo cable from a hi lux is mentioned.

Hope this helps.

Hey Craig Thanks..had a look at that...

No pics of a beddy conversion...appparently from article

celica box is 40mm shorter and lower than m21 box

so gearbox crossmember has to be modified

im looking for pics of converted crossmember in a beddy...anyone got one in their van?

Marky I haven't done a celica but did a supra a little while ago. We had to drop the x member down by fitting 25mm x 25mm square tube between the rails and x member. Used longer bolts and you will need to fit some tube/pipe inside the square tube to stop crushing it. Tailshaft also needed modifying, the yoke and length were wrong. We turned the shifter around to face forward and fitted an extension to get the height right.

Marky we used the x member and re drilled the mountings for the g/box mount. The pic in your link looks good or you could use a flat plate withh the celica mounting holes on the front and holden ones at the rear.

When you guys speak of Celica boxes, what boxes are you really speaking about? T50s? W5x? Steel case?

Got My Box delivered...Thanx Ben

Its got a castlemaine Rod shop Bell housing.....I rang them for answers about my box..said "no info avail"

What I want to know is....The box has a forward pointing Gear Linkage.

eliminating the need to use it as a top loading gearbox

and enables

to mount it in a normal beddy selecter postion

.........with a bush..but it has no mounting for the  bush..

any one seen one these set up before?
