hey jeff, got the cresta diff head & pinion out.. need a slide hammer as others have said. but taking the pinion out you need a gadget to hold the drive shaft flange to undo the locking nut holding it on. then theres the big bearing nut.. but a coal chissel & hammer will move it  if ya gental...

now the swap over.. (just soaking bearings & gears in degreaser to clean first.

Thanks David. I think a pipe wrench should hold the pinion flange if I can open it enough. :-\
Good luck with the repairs.  Starting mine in a week or two.

Ben, i LOVE your axle puller!
