Dormobile bunk info needed
« on: December 22, 2017, 03:52:11 PM »
hi all, got a 70 cf with Dormobile fit-out but have no idea what is missing/needed to set up the bunks.
there are no brackets or rods that came with it.
there are 2 threaded inserts about 40cm apart on the roof that look likely to be something a bracket might go into.  the bunks have a flap of about 100mm that runs the length either as a side to stop young ones falling out??, but no poles to run the length.
if anyone has the info or even the bits needed.
will attempt to post a couple of pics below..
 thanks

Yeah welcome wozzford...
Not to many of those poptops around....
Use the search bar top right hand corner for info found on here in the forum...there's years of info
Have you also tried Facebook?
Bedford c.f. or c.f. Bedford have a lot of members i n the UK where I've seen a lot more doormobiles than here in oz....
Best of luck ..please keep us post with your progress and plenty of pics...if you don't find much info....if your able too please put it in a post on here for future buga reference....
Cheers Wendy & Ray

thanks for the welcome..  i have resisted fb for this long, think i may as well stay clear of it..
i thought there may have been a few bedfords with this style of fit-out (Dormobile) but appears not. i always fancied a kombi with it but as i think about t it there are probable very few of these in oz also..  have a great xmas.  regards

You don't have to use Facebook, Wendy probably meant these UK websites:

forum.bedfordcf.org/index.php

Ahhh no I meant face book..it can be a useful source of information...if you use it to your advantage...the Bedford community is very strong...a bit more responsive than on here sometimes.
Any hobby or interest you may have ...somone on Facebook has a page where others can chat and ask questions and share pictures.
Plz don't knock Facebook it's how it's used that gives it a bad name by the immature ...it was designed to connect people...works a treat. ☺☺☺
Cheers Wendy & Ray
