Toyota 5sp box
« on: November 28, 2016, 02:23:58 PM »
Hi guys first time here need some help. I have cf camper 202 motor with auto. Going to go with w50 5speed box. Wondering about what clutch to put in or will only one type fit. Camper is full back on it with bed over cab so a bit of weight in it. Is there a heavyweight clutch I can use. Any help would be gr8

G'day Glenn. welcome to BUGA.

I'm not much of mechanic but suggest you would need a Holden one tonner flywheel and pressure plate and a clutch plate with the Toyota spline. Excedy and other manufacturers do a heavy duty clutch kit. PBR or RPM would have a clutch to suit.

Cheers, Jeff.
