I think most people use the complete loom
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

you're better off running the VN harness and the T700 tranny as it doesn't run a BCM and isn't interfaced with the dash .Its a much simpler swap to do as you only need power and a couple of relays I have a disc with the wiring diagrams for all the Comodes .Might be able to sort it for you    Cheers Neil

I am no expert, but thought the Vn/Vp was the engine/auto of choice, as the gearbox was not computer controlled, but the Vr onwards was... But I guess it's only really important if your running it behind a red 6
Workin for the weekend!

I live in Perth, have a CF250, I do conversions, and can do wiring the ecotech in for you
The eco is a good choice and way better than old series 1 engine, and particularly if you are going to use eco 4L60e trans, as they are fully tuneable.
I do all the Kalmaker stuff, you may have seen the website, and also have ads on Gumtree for all Holden EFI wiring and tuning from VN to VF.....
I have memcals to suit with VATs turned off so you dont need body control module...

I am about to put a LS1 into my CF Camper, and just put the paperwork in yesterday for approval... hopefully.
if yours was a Holden 6, it is the same setup as HQ Holden, so most GM motors just bolt straight in if you have HQ adaptors, with no welding or cutting except to floor opening.
PM me for phone number
