control rod bushes
« on: February 20, 2009, 11:24:53 AM »
Does anyone know where i can get control rod bushes (also called castor bushes)?
I was under my beddy and noticed that a few have disintegrated, and haven't found a source yet.

I was given this
Peter Coesling Motor Cycle Services
08 82319346

The original owner of my beddy (the grey one), got this guy to do all the front end and gear box modifications. He also did the diff mods.  He has all front end spare parts in stock. We were told this in October 2008.
Hope this helps you guys out

Guy's

If you are referring to the bushers on the rods connected to the back of the front cross member and going towards the rear and connecting to the chassic (not really castor Rods) I bought a full set from Pedders Suspension at Stafford in Brisbane about 12 months ago for about $120 off the shelf, they had the listing on their books

Yeah, pedders are looking for me, but they didn't sound hopeful and didn't have a listing (three days and waiting).
A couple of auto surplus stores are looking too,
They are called control rods, but some people call them castor rods because they adjust the castor (apparently)  ;)

Warren the 1 Tonners are just bolted on. No bushes at all. I have someone looking into making all the Bedford bushes, but like Worzel I'm just waiting waiting ...
