VAN DISPLAY FOR THE SURVIVORS
« on: February 15, 2009, 07:28:06 PM »
HEY GUYS,
I hope you have all checked out the front page, i with the help of a fellow vanner are organising a van display day. Hopefully i will have all the details during the week. At this stage we are looking at Diamond Creek and on the 15th of March. All your support is needed. As a friend who is a Rodder lost his family and home, i may also look at inviting Rodders along. I will have more details during the week.
                     cheers
                          James

Well today was the day for the display. No rain in the morning on my way there which was good. Another van was there when i arrived. Soon after the first Hot rod showed up followed by a few more vans. It was quiet for the first hour or so but then all of a sudden there was a steady stream of vans and rods. All up there were 30 vehicles on display, 13 vans and the rest rods. Sadly no bedford support from the BUGA guys although one did come from Frankston for a look yesterday and another came from near there today but after everyone had gone. Sorry about that guys. Only one bedford was on display but not from buga.  Almost $600 was raised during the day which will be given to the red cross. Thanks to all the Vanners and Rodders that attended.

Yep another apology here.  I start a 2 week full time course tomorrow and with that meaning I have no income for the next 2 weeks I need to work on the weekends.  Glad it went well though.
