Vehicle Description on WA Lic Papers
« on: February 14, 2009, 06:16:17 PM »
I have a bit of a query, was just checking the Lic papers on the truck and it lists the Body type as being a P/van that can't be right can it?
I would of thought maybe Furniture truck or Removal Truck but not a Panel Van. What do they list a real Van as? ???

my LWB papers have heavy van, SWB have light van
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

yep, mine too, I think that most Bedfords were listed as P/vans, my old mans furn van was a p/van too. Perth WA.I'm pretty sure it refers to the Panel type van as luton body or panels on the side of ur furn van

Hey Guys, The p/van description on your rego papers is what you want!! Light truck or anything light that will probably double your rego cost, makes it a commercial vehicle.
Thats how it works here in S.A and we've got the slackest rego rules around. My old motorhome I sold  a couple years ago had lapsed for 6 years; into motor reg, paid money and she was back on the road.
