I have papers and plates for a 202 holden powered lwb (aussie assembled)
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

Hi Busy Kiwi, How would that help? Could I get it modded and rego cert?  Their have been a few sixes for sale locally, as I have found out the old slant is getting hard to upkeep, do the cross members or sump, need to be modded to get it into a NZ model? Just the hole in the floor? Then an engine cover, I let one go to the scrap yard in Briso, buga, not much help over there anyway. What about the numbers? Wil that trip me up? Got a old slant laying around? Wanna buy what's left of a shorty camper if I buy it to rob the donk? Free even? Can't keep anything at the holiday camp. The standard is a mile away, I ve got a couple of leads but that one is right there, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush!

Oh oh oh BUGA, :-\

If you mount the holden six in the right place you don't need to cut any of the floor out and you could make an engine cover or find an ozzie 6 one. You'll just need some extensions on the trans/gearbox mount.

Factory six cly bedford = no cert needed.

Thanks for the info BusyKiwi. I have another lead, not sure what will turn up, also a local van, save on transport costs, get some extra bits, and one I'm not sure what it is, the workshop where my van is gave me a number to ring, no reply as yet, the message was passed on. How would papers and plates work? I make the van fit the paper work and rego follows? The lead was chasing up a van for sale he knew about with a view to parting out what I need and the rest for his bone yard. More info soon to follow, but I can't impose on the workshop too long, and some good has already been done.
   And so it goes . . .
