here's an option Marty. 34 adm Weber (XE Falcon) on an Aussie Speed Manifold. this manifold is double drilled for Weber and Holley. I'll be sticking this in my van soon.

Mine's a 12 port head but they do a 9 port for red motors.

provided the strombergs are built correctly, they should be fairly easy to tune.

Make consistent adjustments in small increments to both carbys each time.

If you want a holley 350 manifold to suit a red motor, my grandad has a few, along with triple su manifold and carbys that came off a highly successful rally car my uncle use to pilot.

In reality, a single stromberg can be a weapon, so two can be awesome, you just need someone who can build and tune them.

When it comes to strombergs, go find your local HQ racers, as they know more about strombergs than most carby shops. We often get given a carby to build that has been done by 'reputable' carby shops. They more often than not have to go in the bin due to the simple modifications that have been made which render them useless.

My grandad is renowned among the race community across this fine nation as being a master of building these carbys to supremacy.

If you want one or two built, decide what sort of performance you are after and then feel free to let me know to organise having them built.

How much to build 2?
Im looking for good throttle response and as good fuel economy as possible.
Im thinking the magic will be in jet selection and air mixture adjustment.
There,s not much more to them is there?
Would i be right?

Hey Marty, apologies for the delay in response.

He usually builds race carbys for $250 which covers gaskets and materials along with jets etc and a little bit for his pocket and time. Building a street carb wouldn't be greatly different in terms of time or expenses, but can see if he can do a better price based on it being 2 carbys if you are interested.

The strombergs have an idle mixture screw, and a fixed jet or adjustable jet depending on desire. They are a very simple carb to tune, however all the performance setup is in the internal channel sizing.

Apparently they are rebuilt and they look it.
I just need info on jet size n how to tune them.
And any other info on how to get them pumping if your willing to let the info out??
Ive asked others but same old story=
Unless your willing to hand over big$$$$$$ to them.
