I had one in my first Van ,all out of its cage and chromed, looked stunning with the inboard discs and coil springs exposed, 25 years ago we weren't too bright in the engineering department so the stabilizer bars cracked the body  -The net result - when changing gears you inadvertently changed lanes as well. Not the safest bus on the road but we were young and stupid at the time.
If you plan to go ahead with it you'll need to apply through Welshpool to do the mods, once approved they will then give you the go ahead and once its done it will need an engineers certificate to have it  registered, the certificate will probably include an on road break test which is not cheap, not many guys are prepared to do it .
You're  probably in for around $750.00 worth of paper work ahead of you if you choose to do it legally.

There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"
