well that's certainly looking pretty strong :)

im interested to know, the transmission dipstick tube, how long is it ? I would love one that reaches to the front of the firewall!
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

I didn't think of extending dipstick to firewall, that would be cool.

NICE work John, would love to have a car hoist but was to scared to mention it to the wife when extending the shed.

im very lucky as my neighbour is a car nut and has a hoist  8) as far as getting a longer transmission dip stick there are plenty of flexible ones that mount on the firewall I went with the original in the end
the only problem with the engine cover is its akward to get out but it dosnt need to come off to often  ;D

cover is double lined with dyno mat [inside and out with carpet over the top] cuts out heaps of sound and heat  8)

yeah I am in the same boat, cover will come out reasonably easy but if just to check oil levels a firewall mounted one out be better :) what brand is it or where did you get it ?
