BRAKE & THROTTLE CABLES
« on: December 02, 2014, 07:57:08 AM »
Hi Guys, i have searched hi & lo and have had no luck, so hope to get some help here.
I am looking for a mobile brake and throttle cable maker. I need someone that can come out and measure up and make a  basic cable on site. I need someone in the Brisbane / Browns Plains area. Any help would be appreciated. thanks guys.

Marine places are also good - the ones that make cables
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

For your throttle, just take a sample of what you need both ends and the length. They should be good from then. Try Flexible Drive Agencies, they are in coopers plains. They did a new speedo cable for my daily drive corolla here in Adelaide- easy as.  ;) As for brake cable? do you mean the metal brake lines? I had to have a new front to rear done on the truck and only cost $20.00. reused my fittings and came "rolled up" so easy to transport. Local guy did it.
Cheers

I am thinking he means the hand brake cables ?
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Hey Guys, have been trying to send this response for days. What i need is some custom made brake & throttle cables that run up the steering column to the new paddles. The brake cable needs to pull the peddle instead of pushing to activate the master cylinder plunger. The throttle just needs to tap into a join in the factory cable to throttle up. I have some pics here to hopefully make things clearer. The setup is dead simple, getting someone here to look at it and make up the cables is the hardest part of the job. So if anyone knows of an onsite company that can make custom cables that would be great. Thanks guys.
