BBQ
« on: November 30, 2014, 07:34:33 AM »
A lot of you don't know that I'm confined to a electric wheelchair so getting to events is somewhat difficult and VERY expensive i.e. a return Maxi Taxi ride to the Burswood Dome with a 75% discount is $180.00, a trip to Charlies $150.00 and a ride to Freo $100.00, etc, so when your income is nil outings become a treat, earlier on there were discussions about a Christmas BBQ, well just down the road from me is a park with a lake, tables and BBQ, but I'm way down in Waikiki, if you ever considered coming down this way for a BBQ I could drive my chair to this one
Happy to be living past my "use by date" I was given 6-12 months to live in August 2007

You need to buy a bedford petrol head,
And have a 1 piece rear door and ramp.
Then you can go anywhere you like.

OK All
Its official - change of venue, Lets make it the weekend of the 18/19 January  - lock it in and we all work to being there,
I'm not sure what I have done to the electrics on my bus but I changed the dash configuration and now the ignition lamp stays on and the indicators have a glow and a pulse as apposed to a flash, when the hazards are engaged then nothing works. Are there any spark doctors out there?

Marishka the bastards took my lisence off of me, I even worked out a dual control setup to cover all of their other complaints but in the end they said that a Beddie was too "old" John I don't know the name of the park all I know is that it is within walking distance of here

Thats a bit rough mate,
There are other double amputees out there driving.
I Cant see why they singled you out and doubt they were legally able to.
I would have fought them mate.
An automatic bedford would have been perfect.

An automatic bedford would have been perfect. Yup I know but due to my condition (brain tumor) they took my licence away as I might have an "episode"
