extractors

Hi guys im after a set of extractors for my beddy as they have rusted out. it has a holden 186. anyone out there have a set lying around I could by?

Hey Wendy Im based in Melbourne. This car is my learning experience about cars.. so im just entering the world of extractors now. Do certain ones make the car more fuel efficient? Also can I get ones to make it run quieter....

ok were in Lake Macquarie between Gosford and newcastle.
Yes extractors do make a difference..
we put a set of EFI extractors on our 202 and it made a differenc.
we now have a turbo on our 202 and that has made another significant difference 
Im sure someone in Vic will be able to help you out with a set .

Do you know about the 40th Van nationals next year In Bathurst at easter time?
Its a great oppurtunity to mingle with vanners, theres 150 entered so far and we get to do a lap of the track as well!
and it doesnt matter what stage your van is at ..its all about being there.

Hey Wendy could you tell me more about the turbo part? is this something you would need to do at the same time as extractors? Im trying to make this thing as economical as possible as I do very long drives very often.. thanks for your advice its always great!!!!

ahhh joshua Ray had to make or fabricate both inlet and exhaust manifolds to allow the turbo to fit down beside the engine as there is no room above the engine to allow a turbo to fit.
There was a lot of work that went into setting up the turbo to fit in the limited space of a bedford engine bay.

and this is the link to the pictures of the EFI mainfold Ray modified and fitted before we turboed the 202...this manifold did increase power yet was more economical than the standard cabi inlet manifold and extractors we had on orginally..we went from 23litre per 100km to 17.5 litres per 100kms ..keeping in mind we run straight LPG too.

These are GMH performance headers fitted to GTR Torana's, 6 Cyl Monaros etc.
They are cast iron, so will not rust through like extractors.
There is a y piece that connects to the bottom so you have 2 into one system. It is not included with this item but an exhaust shop could get/make one to suit these.

These make a red motor breathe much better

Hey ya Rhett so if I got this i would just need to get the Y system then that would go to the muffler? The two things im trying to achieve is better fuel and a quiet as can be....
