Gas Struts for One Piece Side & Rear Doors
« on: January 28, 2009, 02:21:00 PM »
I have found a supplier for the gas strut kits. The kit uses h/d brackets with large ball ends, the strut rods are 10mm. They can be charged from 30kg - 100kg of closing force. Standard 1 piece rear or side door without any speakers or anything else require th 30kgs charge. Adding speakers means the charge needs to be higher so weigh them before installing so the strut can be calibrated correctly.

Each kit costs $125 plus gst and postage.
