don't fit?
« on: August 14, 2014, 08:58:31 PM »
Heres a weird one...I had the windscreen sorta fitted today, after 2 goes it is in the hole but not 100%
The windscreen was in the van prior, but the rubber was from another van. Were all the windscreen rubbers the same? any reason it wouldnt fit up properly? cheers! ???
Hammer...check, shifter...check, electrical tape...check, now wheres my #%$@ wallet!??

If the rubber came out of a Beddie, it should fit. Could need a bit of push and shove when fitting?  ???

The aftermarket windscreen rubbers may vary slightly. I would have liked my replacement rubber to overlap the body by 2mm more,
to be closer to the original.

i once had an early model van that didnt fit too good but i the surround was slightly the wrong angle. we changed its angle with pliers and it was fine after that.

i hope that makes sense.

cheers
