i asked him a few questions

"cool dude i under stand the van drives but no brakes needs master cylinder. To move around been using hand brake works great.yes i can arrange tow truck. i assume it      was engineered because it was registered and the guy i purchased the van off told me it was enginered. the guy i got the van off moved to queensland at the time and lost most of his paper work in the process, but i was prepared too start again. There is a compliance plate with a differen't number on the van not sure if that is it because it is stamped on the tyre plackard. It has ford rims on the front, and its disk brake. not sure what the diff ratio is but its low. (the van does need work as you can see in the photo's as it is a unfinished project. any more questions feel free to ask."

i was very tempted, but add in $800 to get it to melb, and $800 to get it engineered as it doesn't sound too promising and the other bits and pieces ($500-$3000)

Looks good but too many unknowns to buy unseen
