I need to do an update for our Beddiephiles, have been quite busy on my 4x4 of late and haven't really posted anything for a while, will get some pics for tomorrow.

Been a fan of Bedfords since I was 12years old....
Finally purchased my first beddi late last year
Currently in the process of getting a wof..bit of rust to deal with
Running a 186 with a 5spd celica box
Wanting to do an engine conversion but gotta research further
Gonna leave it as is for awhile

Hi all, Well it has been a dream for a long long time but I finally own my first Bedford, it has a 253 red motor on the original front end so I am looking to sort the front end out. I have been told jaguar is what the rodders use ?? I have also been told to use h ktg front end with hq-z stubs n rotors for disc, any help on this would be great , thanks, Mark from Morgan S,A.

lots of help and advice here.
not sure about the jag thingy.... with a 253, I would expect transport SA would like disc brakes at the front, but you would need to check -  lots of options- HQ and commodore are the most common, guess it comes down to what is available.

I would be more concerned with the rear end...... it is the gearing that really kills the CF..

Yeah i agree with Russell,
HQ J X Z- Commodore disks.

1986 Jag have double piston callipers so they might be heaps better option .
I haven't heard of any cf Bedford's with jag.
But my mate has a bedford 1948 pickup with 1986 jag disks and it will throw u through the windscreen if you stand on the brakes,
