Rumax,My Cf was modded years ago in WA in the '80s, it was my daily drive, I went to Vic got it rego'd there with no inspection at all, 10yrs later when i returned home to WA i let the reg run out , so now hear i am in this situation...hopefully it wont be too much of a headache. Where's the 1646 track  measured from? ... I'll check the engine number and that's a great tip with the sand paper and chalk.

Thanks for the help mate,
Cheers.

Kevin.

Hey

I'm Paul from Sydney. I bought the Bedford as a project for my new cafe. I will be restoring the van back to original as best I can, and then converting the back into a pull out cafe. You can check out the (basic) website at www.zombiecafe.com.au if you fancy. My plans so far are to remove the pop top, block in the back side windows, get the whole thing sandblasted and rust repaired, etc. Big project so far.

I really wanted the old style van for character and fell in love with the Bedford. Had a few hiccups along the way and Im sure many more to come, but it will all be worth it, and will be great to bring her along to any Bedford meets that may happen, free coffee of course!

I am a complete novice in all things automotive, but I am teaching myself as much as I can along the way, so please bare with me if any of my posts are outright dumb sounding.

Look forward to keeping you up to date with the progress

Paul @ Zombie Cafe

P.s I came across this site through Google

Hey Paul,
Welcome to the forum. I've recently joined myself,  the site is full of useful information and advice.
I've met a few members and been to a few gatherings already, there's still a few more BUGA's to meet up with.
You'll find plenty of help. Good luck with the rebuild and zombie cafe venture.

Oh and I'm glad I'm NOT the "new guy" anymore.

Kevin.

Hey no beddy questions are dumb questions...its all for enjoyment, fun and learning as you grow to love your beloved beddy! ::) ::) ::)
Due to a lot of active members on bedford vans australia face book page, with an increasing number of van owners in and around sydney, we have a gathering in the pipeline so we can all indulge in our passion for all things bedford.
Will keep you posted when a date is finalised!
Cheers Wendy & Ray

Hi Kevin,
