Hi Bedford team riders, my name is Gus from Tasmania and ive got a 1976 CF 350 light truck. it s great.
im a chef and looking at turning her into a food vending venture machine with a classic edge of sorts!   with a holden blue v8, with 200 litre lpg which im not sure is legit, and heaps of hz holden mods... she still needs work. not registered but getting close to roadworthy, been working on it for half a year and got her up and running this week!

i stumbled accross this site acciidently while on bedford.co.uk there was a link somewhere. and since then ive spent half of today searching forums for tweaks and tips,

i know jack about mechanics, but thanks to my bedford i have already learned how to rewire a new ignition switch, other minor electrics, replaced a needle and seat in a carb (that was dumping fuel) and fixed a network of numerous other issues, and now thanks to BUGA im not stopping now!   on  the road soon.

Thanks, im going to need heaps of that advice at many stages from the ground up.  so many questions...

this is the only picture so far, day one with the bedford, where it was found in a shallow grave down a dirt track - deep south in Tas.

it had been resting for a handfull of years, and took so many attempts to fire,   dunno how but she's alive and now another theres bedford back on the road...
much work to be done.. and more photos  :)

1x aerodynamic fibregalss scoop please. yeah gonna need a scoop at some point or itl chew thru petrol and proobablybe hard to steer on some days, havent driven it enough to notice yet.  on page one of this post im looking at two trucks with the no scoop, gonna get one eventually no idea how tho,     still not sure if theres gonna be a generator  wedged up there somewhere or whats going on with the whole setup on the back at the mo... stuck with electriccal dramatics, will throw some questions on the electrics help page.
