I fixed the carby problem I was having - was a vaccum problem with the hose that runs off the back of the carby.
Through trial and error I recently found out that that hose IS important and YES it does require a one way
valve! (Marty if your reading this - please take note :D). Replaced a headlight globe, flushed radiator and refilled with new fluid.
Cleaned the interior for the first time ever - came up quite nicely. Drove it to the entrance to my new carpark and drove it straight
in - the clearance was about 5mm - the beddy now lives undergound in a secure car space! Yay! ;)

Went to Adelaide to visit my"Office" ; U-Pullit car wreckers. Got New grille and front spoiler off a wrecked car that I think "I" can make fit the Beddie. Not telling yet, what that car was!!!!
When it's fitted and pictures are posted, I'll let you guys have a guess as to where it came from!!
Apparently, Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder!
Cheers Brian O ??? :P

Hey Jock, make sure you check all clearances again on the way out as the angles all change depending on which way you are going. Up, down, forwards and backwards. Making it down into the underground basement is one thing. Getting out is another! ;)

Thanks for your offer to help with the box! ;D I drove straight there and picked it up no probs. Then the drive to Homebush was pushin it. Bad man tired kicked in and the last 15 minutes was a bugger. But all is good! The box looks tops! Admittedly it is just a gearbox wrapped in plastic. But it's tops! ;D I'm having issues already about sticking it up behind that ugly donk I got going on in there. Hmmm...... Might need a new donk 8)

Ow, and just incase anybody is wondering ::) I played in Byron till midnight on Monday, then jumped in the car (sorry for swearing) and drove to Sydney and picked up the new gearbox! ;D Driving home on the 26th, hoping that I can get in touch with engineer sometime before NYE, to book in for early Jan. Hopefully rego'd mid jan ;) The road trip late Jan ;D

Hey Marky, did you pick up those weater seals from Denny's or were they off the van? You don't have an original fuel cap on that newly acquiered Beddy that I can borrow do you? I wanna put my newly painted tank back in, but my new cap ain't arriving for a bit yet.

Looking good Johno! I bet your pumped to get it finished! Will the beddy sleep inside or out?
I feel so much better for old Barry (my beddy) now that he sleeps undercover in a cool, dry
and safe place! Keep the pics coming.

Jock
