photos are coming mate my bluetooth dongle packed it in as soon as the new one arrives i have a dozen or so pics of my progress cheers

Was ment to catch up with Aaron, but Friday night's gig was just too good! ::) Too much DnB n' Beer! ;D

I'm off to Sydney tonight after my gig in Byron. Hope to arrive sometime (not too late) tomorrow and the first thing on the agenda is picking up our new gearbox that has been witing for us for over a year now ::) Don't think I'll have the cash to fit it before the Van Nats, Bugger! :( But I'm gonna try! ;)

And I just can't hide it!
I'm about to loose control and I think I like it!

Installed a new maintanance free battery  760 cranking amps, 96ah
removed the old insulation from inside the van
removed the old carpet
removed the front grill
stripped some paint and fiberglass that was lifting
started prep work to remove crushed guard ( new spot weld drill bits arrived)
removed air filter and got the old girl to start

Drove the Wrecked Beddy i bought home...
started stripping it down to feed my CFS

On the weekend
It was Summer Solstice Longest day of the year so lots of work done
New Drivers Sunvisor
New Door Rubbers and weather seals
(these ROCK! no more drips inside the van and the doors seals tight no squeaks !   yay)

Wheel Bearings Regreased and Tighted

Swapped my 3 Speed Gearbox for the M21 4 speed
all came out easy enough...
but going back in was a bit of a struggle by my self
felt like i was playing Twister...jack in one hand....elbows etc... knees pushing up the crossmember
...was quite a site..back in tighten everything up..
aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrgghhh

Stuck in reverse and 4 th at same time

Up on the jack again.... some gentle persuasion with the Apprentices helper (Hammer)
and were off..band van ready to go Peats Ridge
Went for a drive
Already saving money with a better driving ratio

man appart from not being able to help right now, i'm really keen.  Works going to be quiet until New Year so might do a bi nighter up there when i'm back in action
