A hoarder who does sell things at a high price only to people he likes...we go to him as a last resort ..you cant haggle with him.
Really nice fellow thou  who has way to many dreams for his collection and not enough time to get them all done.
Cheers Wendy & Ray

Well, I have had an interesting week with work & housemates... both were crud, but..........

I had a fun day and a few hours today in the "drive" on Saturday & today. Sunny for the first time in ages.....

engine transfer makes it 1 BIG step closer to getting the red truck finished and back on the road. Sad part is the grey trucks next trip will not be under its own power.  :( :( :(

Notice the special bend I put in the front cross brace. Just glad I have a spare.  And yes, it is a commodore fuse box you see.
Workin for the weekend!

yesterday i changed the barrels on my door locks, that was an exercise in frustration, started to loosen bolts in door so i could realign properly, need to look at drivers side door lock too
took a few photos of the van and start a album
thought about tackling the window wiper motor, changing to commodore one.....looked and thought, how in the name of...
do you have to remove the whole unit including the rods etc?
have to get in the back to start removing slot of glue that was used to hold carpet to the walls and roof

Hi Gunning, wiper motor assembly is a bit fiddly to get out, but not too bad. It comes out rods and all. All you need to do is remove the two big nuts on the outside of the van under each wiper arm and then there should be a small nut and bolt that holds the wiper angled bracket to your firewall. Push the spindles back through the holes and then slide the whole unit out from under the dash by pushing it towards the passenger side of the van. You will need to detach the wires which should just be on a pull out plug. You may need to remove your windscreen demister pipes if they prove to be in the way.
Healthy eating doesn't make you live longer. It just feels longer

managed to realign front drivers door to look pretty cool, to me all the gaps appear to be uniform , no grinding noise when opening or closing. removed the internal door latch mechanism. It appears to have some wear around the part thats visible from outside, this causes my problem of door not always locking. Ill add pics when i can, trying to think of something thatll tighten it all up....tight and secure
