Im not going to allow myself to think that this wont be hard, so i just have to be patient and nut it out bit by bit. ;) But first i will have to save some big pennies first... ;) :D

I used the VN booster in my standard van but kept the bedford pedal box, just added the 2 brake switchs, also used VN steering column and dash, and VN wiper motor on bedford wiper frame.
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

Hi guys, has been a productive week, fine tuned the last few bits on my dune buggy, so just need to drop some fuel into her and we are ready to play. The hardest part of the build had to be designing and fabricating a working set of safe hand controls. Because i can not buy them i had to machine everything, from bolts to clevis joints and pins to the controls themselves, but it's done now and time to play. As soon as i download pics of the controls i will post, but for now, here are some of the finished buggy.

As for my beddy, well i hope to have that finished after xmas, i am going to bite the bullet and send it to a shop to have it finished.

George the buggy looks great but how do you get in? I doesn't look like a slide in application

Mate that's exactly how i get in. I pull my chair up to the side and scoot straight over the top of the bar, and down into the seat, and to get out, i just grab hold of the roll bars and pull my self up onto the side bar and back into my chair. I did find the need to get rubber padding for the bar i sit on to get in, to stop any accidents. I'm looking forward to the grandkids coming down at xmas, they are going to have a ball. I will have to try and work out how to post a video on here and video the action. As for time bas, these days i have plenty unfortunately, the buggy has taken over a year to build, mainly because i have to wait for someone to help when i hit a snag and cant reach something because of the angle. I have a bike lifter, so i got creative and used it to lift my buggy and go-kart up to work on them. Here is a pic of my kart on there.

Ok finally got around to downloading some pics, it's easier to take them, then to sit down and transfer them. Some of them show my buggy on the bike lifter and my CTEC connected.
