Ok back online, must get some new pictures sorted for the daliy post, but might have to link to Gallery us upload still not working, says folder full. Took the Jumbo out for a run today and drove back slowly, on the motorway at 80-100km it started to shake and vibrate alot ease off and it stoped ???, and the speedo would drop from a 100km down to oooo ease off the foot and back up it went ???, guess I need to look at the drive shaft and middle bearing, wouldn't mind going 1 peice but on a Jumbo that's a long sharft :D Might even be the diff ???. ok might go with a single wheel diff and a new sharft..... and see what happens. Bas

Ok Bearing, looked at the one on the Camper, looks like a after market one as the rubber is ( web looking ) but drive shaft sits sold in it, on the Jumbo I can move the drive shaft around, how do you change these as they look like they are part of the D Shaft, where do you get them from ???being a Bedford I can't roll up at my local car yard.......... Cheers

Ok well I decided to take the Beddy Motorhome for a bit of a run down the coast to Cabbage Tree point between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

she performed flawlessly, and I checked the speedo againstt the GPS and it's about spot on, flat out down hill at 93 Km/h @ 3,000 rpm in top gear  4th , on the flat she pushes 80 @ 2800 rpm.

I'd love to put a 5 speed celica box in her for overdrive.  :P

Here's a pic I took at the point

Craig, i have seen upper balljoints welded in on Hq Race cars, it stops them moving around.
Havent seen them on a Bedford specifically however
