Bonus, they supply the ramps man I used to lug mine around then when I got home I would have to clean the car and ramps
Happy to be living past my "use by date" I was given 6-12 months to live in August 2007

been busy working on the custom van, trying to get it done for the van nationals at Easter.
The greenie colour is etch primer, still have a few bits to work on, then it goes grey primer with a black dust coat for the event.
The "thing" sticking out the front is the front driveshaft (yes front), because my engine is right behind the front seats I actually have no room for things like alternator and air con pump so am using a totota estina (i think it was an estina) front driveshaft and pulley system. Basically how it works is the driveshaft bolts to the engines crank, the engine still runs the water pump but the end of the drive shaft I have all the other things, it is mounted to the front cross member.
I'm sure someone will ask for a photo, but I can't as I've only mocked it up and haven't actually mounted it yet. If I have time before Easter to mount it I will other wise do it after, only really need the waterpump working for moving it. Can't use electric waterpump as angle of the dangle is wrong for the pipe, like I said I have limited room in front of the engine.

Windscreen still not done, grrr but am trying to get some perspex to make a temporary screen but is proving hard as there isn't enough hours in the day to do everything.

Once its ready to go I'll post some better pictures and update my website pages better

Thanks guys

the top rear looks a bit weird without the roof spoiler on

George, not sure anymore, was going to do white and yellow, white top and front with yellow on white on yellow flames on the front guards with black pin striping with the pin stripe blending into the top body line about 1/3 way along the van then going into a mural on the back, was thinking about when the rear door was closed the mural was innocent but when the door was open it was rude, kind of like the old MAD magazine rear cover

Warren, nah this one is a girl for sure, have lost count the number of times that have called it a bitch

Bas, when I first put the van in the garage i had to let the air out of the tires, the garage its in is a converted car port, roof tapers down to that side.

The van is nearly as wide as it is tall

pardon my ignorace, but what is the reason for having a mid mounted engine. all i can think of is it would get in the way of cargo space
-Aaron
How can i say this without hurting your feelings...Oh, I know, I don't want your stupid things in my cool van
