well done george.

well dad bough his first complete beddy yesterday..

we drove it home last night from melb in the rain.. was another adventure.. snapped a wheel stud, had wheel nuts coming loose.

conclusion:

dont put commadore rims on hq - hz stud pattern unless you can beef up the wheel studs using falcon 1/2inch studs rather than 7/16th holden ones cause of the centre hole no being supported by the other centre hole ya know lol...

anyway got her back home
here are some photos of the beast..

253 auto, hwy salsbury diff, hq front brakes, nice and straght only surface rust. good price:) and all engineered you little beauty:)

good one ben, looks good. Just goes to show that there are still a lot of bedfords out there, i wonder how many more there are.

Well i finally got my new laser cut custom grill on friday, awesome is all i can say, this will be the only grill of this design on a bedford anywhere in australia. 100% original to a beddy. Cant wait to show it off to all, i recon you will all be surprised at what it is. Held it up against the front of my van yesterday, just AWESOME. Got my modified headlight mounting rings back as well, so i can now finish mounting up my grill and lights. oh yeh. We finished my front doors on friday, welded the lid down on my battery tray inside the cargo door, battery tray has also been cut out.

Next thursday i will be starting on the back of my van, the whole back will be cut up and fitted with new tail lights and xtras, you are going to love the lights i have for the rear, i have'nt even seen them on the original car, they are an upgrade for the factory lights, but i dont think owners are aware these lights are available, i stumbled onto them while looking for the originals.

Fitted a fuse box and safety shut off switch to the white truck, also changed the dash cluster, bled the brakes wired up the newly installed windscreen washer. Only a couple of jobs and its ready for rego, tray, carpet and trim, wire the new LED tail lights and fit the new windscreen seal and crackless screen......a bout a weeks work if i knuckl down, but it seems i only get one day a month to do anything.....started up the new v8 truck and took for spin round the block to charge the battery.....cant wait to get started on it poper!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought my first beddy (off ebay), Waiting for it to be trucked over from Melbourne to see what condition she's in.
Also made some room in the shed to start working on her

3. wrecked a blue van last week.. here are some of the remains..

4.built a fibreglass snare drum this week.. sounds pretty good too:) pity i used old hardware otherwise it would look a million bucks!!

now fits really well with the rest of my kit ha ha!!

5. been working occasionally on the tilt front.. still considering cutting the whole front off the van so i can spin her round..
