I got a twin speed set up on the old Bedford wiper motor, a switch from repco many years ago, works a treat. Not sure if you can still buy them, switch and relay unit.

spent the week fitting up all of the little things, rebuilt the grille, fitted the bumpers, fitted all of the lights.
Built up a floor mount shifter for another race car today, basically had to be built from scratch but its come up good. In the process tho, a grinder wheel basically exploded and the cutter wheel got my grandad on the chin, i think it bounced off the bone, but cut thru all of the flesh in the process, VERY lucky it didn't hit him in the neck, or his one remainig eye.

Today we examined the rear drums, touched up the rear doors, and i rewired the fuse box - which worked out perfect as now all of the lights, wipers and indicators work. Also fitted in a new wiper/indicator stalk(HZ)
So its been a busy, sucessful and VERY lucky week

There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

looks good dano..

well things have been a pain int the butt this weekend..

jacked up camper to do the diff change over & found ot that the doner beddy had a holden box in it... ithink its a holden box.

not a bedford so spline is bigger & shorter.. damn.. also the Cresta pinion has a diffrent Oil seal.

oh man so now i've got to do a gearbox swap & try get another seal as the bedford one the lip is facing out & the crester its facing in but the inned rubber seal is the other way around so cant just use bedford for cresta pinion.

i have the box & stuffed motor & drive shaft from donner so is cheap way to go only more stuffing around.

..Jeff.. Get this seal before you do the diff as they are a use once seal you have to munt them to get thaem out. & check you drive shaft length as the cresta diff head is about 1-1.5" longer than bedford. will put up some pics soon

The guy who ran Collins Autos in Newtown now owns the bearings supplier in Tory Street in town. If you're headed up from Courtney Place it's near the top of Tory Street on the left. Look for the big SKF sign.
