I got another home made heater fan unit from the wreckers and an EA falcon wiper motor off ebay for $20.

So out came the heater radiator and boy! Was it totally filled with crap! Used a high pressure hose to unclog it. It obviously had a smashed wind screen at some point, the amount of broken glass in the demister hoses was unreal! I taped each hose up with shitloads of electrical tape. To get the wiper unit out, the demister vents had to come out requiring an old phillips head screwdriver heated and bent 90 degrees.

Then took out the wiper assembly and fitted the EA motor. It's not the same as an EB fairmont motor like Rogue used to replace his, so I had to make it fit with just two bolts, but solid as a brick!

Now both the heater fan and wiper motor have two speeds: Fast, and FASTER!!

It can drive up a wall in 5th gear and across the Sun without overheating!

Pleased to hear the conversion went well. Certainly worthwhile and easier for you as you already have the Falcon wiper switch assembly mounted on your steering column.
