2 hours ago I arrived to my home with my own Bedford CF280 (1980 LWB, 2,3L GM diesel, 4 speed ZF gearbox, panel van). ;-)
There was a very hard and crazy way to home. Near the 500 km through the rain with snow, roads surface was as a skating ring surface, strong cold wind as a snow storm, without heater inside van and within 22 hours spent on the road ;-) All is done! I am at home. Life is so good with cup of hot coffee and ... with Beddy which standing near my house. :-))))

We are living in Ukraine, me and my vans: Vauxhall Bedford CF280 (1980) and Opel Bedford Blitz CF250 (1987) ;-)

You need some guts and a sense of adventure to drive a Beddy. I think in The Ukraine in winter  you need lots of both.
Congratulations on the iceberg Beddy.   ;D
Funny old life.

Today was a rest day for both of us. Me and Beddy. :-) Tomorrow I want to check all places on a van's body and write a list of general problems and very first "To-Do" steps.

I don't know for sure how we (me and beddy) done this trip. Today, 8 hours later then we arrived to home, I hear on the news that more then 100 cars (small private cars, big trucks, buses, even SUVs) is totally blocked by snow and bad weather conditions straight on the road that I used for my van delivery. Thanks Beddy! It is a real "snow roads killer"! ;-)

well done Abodator, that's a real effort......snow and beddie brakes.......I guess they feel the same really. ;D

I don't know how good must be the beddy's brakes because I used it a very first time in my life. As for me, the brakes is hard for my foot but good for braking of van's. ;-)

is that a Left Hand Drive version or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

Yes, it is a left hand drive. 30 years ago it was produced for italian market. Even I found some italian stickers on the back side windows. And the service and option codes plate says about ITA (italian) market also.

Warren, thanks.

Thanks guys. It is start of my "Project". Let be ready for large quantity of stupid questions from my side ;-) Because this is my first van through my life. :-) Thanks in advance for all your future answers and advices to me.

p.s. Ops, it is a time to change the avatar picture :-))))))))))))
