hey Waz, so shes all quitened down now, thats great news. wadda about the squeaking front passenger seat? She drives nice. I took all day Saturday to sand prime and top coat the flare kit .... came up a treat EXCEPTING that I bought satin black instead of matt black, still looks okay but too glossy for me ... fitted them on and looks good on the van but doesn't match existing black, never mind will look good in the dark... Rubman called in to say hi on his way past, good to see you bro, you looking after that van? Fathers day gotta a new set of hedge cutters amongst other things (great pressies thanks familly!) had a bit of a play on a few bushes then got carried and ended up playing edward scissor hands on nearly every bush on the property for the whole day while beddie van sat in the driveway and sewer snake lay in the sewer .... oh well always next weekend  :-\

This morning I drove about 100 K's to pick up a trailer that I intend to use for a camper trailer, first trip longer than just going to and from work, cruised at 100 K's no problems, a but slow to get up to speed but that could be a timing thing.

Got there OK, hitched the trailer up and headead home, I had a list of things I wanted to do - choke cable, radiator mounts, auto cooler to tidy up befor the holidays.

For some reason the van wouldn't go over eighty K's, I didnt think the trailer was that heavy, half way home I'm taking off from the lights and in the rearview mirror I see what looks to be steam comming from under the car, pull over pop the bonnet, no no steam, look under the car, BUGA trans fluid running down, so I move off into a service road leave the motor running and have another look.

BUGA BUGA BUGA its like a river of oil pouring out. Turn the engine off, and ring a tow truck, I'm going no where :(

$130 later I'm home BUGA, time to pull the gearbox - BUGA

BUga Buga Buga         Well at least it happened befor I was halfway through the holidays

Thanks Eddy, but your right selector is on the right.

The motor we took out has the same type of auto, but I'm not sure of it either, might be easier in the long run to get this one looked at ( I think it might be a blown main seal) rather run the risk of the same thing happening.

Could be that I was running with out a cooler - ( that was on the list for today )
