;D Hi guys & girls,  I may have got a ""mates" rate deal on my spacers; as he is a friend through Dirt Circuit racing. I only paid $ 160 for the pair. He's a good bloke, so wouldn't expect him t charge much more t anybody from the ""Buga Club"'
If anybody wants any  CNC type machining done; he is located in Adelaide; very clever & cluey man!!
He trades as Growly Custom Machining. Ph. 0447-739 992   Ya can mention my name; not sure that will help!!
Cheers Brian O   ;D

Hey guys be careful with those wheel spacers ive had a rear axle snap from using them mine were only one inch and the engineer i spoke to told me it almost doubled the load value on the end of the axle. I shudder to think what three inch ones would do thats probably why they're ilegal in most states anyway enough of my happy thoughts  ;)

that's a big worry then if they can cause an axle to snap.
all it would take is a pothole maybe?
imagine your back wheel disconnecting from your van and taking off at 100km per hr.
it would be going forward 2.
if it hit a oncoming car doing 80kms that's an impact speed of 180kms.
and your insurance company might wipe the contract if its not stated about the spacers.
maybe they wouldn't even insure the vehicle with the spacers?
id look into it just in case.
Ive heard they are illegal.
if there was a fatality that would be a total disaster.
im not trying to pop anyone's bubble but i definitely wouldn't be putting them on my van.
think i would just get the right width diff or stud pattern.

:oI'm totally with legallity side of things and the insurance!  This guy makes them for use on drift cars; so if that doesn't put extreme loads on them, nothing will.

There are also Mitsubishi vans down here iSA that run with about 4" (100mm) spacers , so that they can put the wheels outside the body with flares covering them. They do this for wheel -chair access      Cheers Brian

hey brian i dont think merlin was saying that the spacers were gunna snap. but the extra load that it puts on the axel. cause i have not herd of anyone beefing up their axels after running spacers. so it doesnt matter how good the spcers are if they put extra load on the bearings and axels you are running a huge risk of snappage.

my thoughts anyway.
