bought the new beddy truck home and parked it up.....cant do anything on it until i finish the old one.....so yesterday i dropped the front end out as it is pretty shagged.....bushes all rooted, tie rods u/s and was missing the shockies.....so i decided to put the one out  of the donor van in it as it is in good nick.....can still read the part numbers on all the rubber mounts and covers. Gave it a quick clean up and bolted it straight in......i left the engine in situ and made a cradle to hold it in place.....this meant not having to drop the engine and tranny and disconnecting everything....just had to undo the front end bolts 2 x brake lines, engine mounts and steering coupling. New one is in and ready to go.....photos here......

Hey all, well we have been busy, we cut the old 186 engine mounts out yesterday, ground it all clean, ready to weld my new V6 mounts in. Also we fully welded my mounting bracket for the power steering rack so that is now sorted, next is to pull the donor V6 from my donor car.

rolled the van out of the workshop after finishing polishing, she's come up looking good.
Went out to woodsies - in the van - to get some rubbers for the front doors as rare spares still haven't got the rubbers in that they ordered 2 weeks ago. Also - It sounds like we might be able to get the baileychannel for the top of the doors from woodsies, spectrum make a part VERY similar, seems a slight bit shorter, but should be close enough to work. He's got some on order for me, so we'll know soon enough.
Then spent the day/night cruising in the van!!
Still got a few things to do to finish her off, but the major things are now done.

As most would guess, i am a very happy man.. ;)
