Actually Johnno are you sure that produce came from a herd of cows because I reckon I seen just as much in my sewer when I finally unblocked it, by the way got the snake out and its still lying on the front nature strip  ..... mind you I wouldn't have shovelled the produce that I recovered onto my garden  ;)

.... and to keep the subject of weekend doings and goings on rolling along, I visited Bennie bro on Sunday, fitted a great pair of matching windscreen wipers, fitted the seat belt extensions .... and .... fitted the missing heater duct over the engine cover  ;D thanks ben

My neighbour asked me to do some work on his transit ('06 model) and the first thing that came out of my mouth was "you can't polish a turd". He had no come back lol
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

well that sucked... the 4speed beddy box that came with the 202 got harder & harder to get into & out of gears..

so lucky i still had the other one on me old 4cyl 2.3 (same box's) and i know that ones fine as it did 1300km christmas year before last down south Island.

so have just finished putting it in & even with it out you cant get into or out of gears at all at times.. any ideas?? as i would like to keep a spear incase i need one..

anyway I'm off as of Easter sunday for a 2 week trip around the North Island, Gisbone, Mt Monganui etc.. upto the Hibiscus cost & back dowm through New plymouth, wanganui etc..

Have a good easter all.

4 spd auto or manual?
If its a holden manual box, there are a couple of potential causes, almost all of which will require the box to be opened up..

hey LS, i've never actually seen a vauxhaul box in the flesh, so i'm not much help there, but if its anything like a holden box, pull the selector plate off and have a look inside, get a big screw driver and try forcing the gears over as they would if using the selectors, you should be able to see most of whats going on in there, you'll be able to see if it's crunched synchros, or if it's  not holding the pins up therefor a circlip thats turned. have a play around with it, you'll get a feel for what's going on, take some photos if you can't figure it out and show us, as we may be able to spot something..

Good luck
