did some stuff for the first time since Xmas.....trouble shooted some wiring, made a battery clamp, installed new battery cables and and terminals, fitted a new choke cable, fitted new plugs and points and changed the oil and filter. Next is to get to pedders in Albany to rebush the front end replace a couple of dodgy bits with ones of the donor front end.....then in to the brake shop to get everything right in the stopping dept.........sadly work has kept me to busy to do anymore of late.

after looking at ians photos i dragged my sorry arse out of bed and started work on the van again , and fell into a newly discovered rust hole it had a golf ball size piece of bog in it! :-[ merlin have you got your roller ready yet? i need some sill panel about 500mm worth  :(

This week I have been pulling my 186 red motor out of my van, its now sitting on the ground with the front crossmember. We found that the upper control arm has a crack in it. With rubbers perished, the hole is now oval not round, with all the movement it has caused a lot of cracking. Thankfully I have a replacement ready to fit up. Thats what I have done this week.
