the tool i made to remove flange head & some more pics..

the box i was going to use was a Holden 4 speed Side selector's with adaptors for bedford floor shifter.

but the input shaft has a bit of movement in it & i'm not sure i want to risk it..

well the good nes & bad news is they make them in england stilll but not in NZ, best they can do is same inner & smaller outer size seal & have a brass ring to fill the outer gap.

or order one from the uk..

Thanks David, There is always a way. I once had to destroy two seals and epoxy them together to get one to fit a TR2 I was  waiting to use.
It is good to be fore warned thanks.

Hi jeff, they are Seal Inports in Alice town, lower hutt.

seal is a 1.1/4 inner 3" outer but they only do 2.1/4 outer you will need at least 10mm for a good sleve on the out side so dont go any smaller. (Advice from President of vaxaul club)

If they're called 'Seal Imports' then why don't they import the correct seals for you? Customer service seems to be non-existent these days.

Anyway it can't be that hard to get the correct stuff sent from the UK in these days of the internet and online sales. Why don't you contact the manufacturer and get some sent over? Shouldn't cost that much for postage.
