Cheers Dano, it looks much better than that now, you lot'll see it all soon.

We had to do the same with the passenger door, had some metal folded up and welded it in, we were going to do the same with the drivers door, but a similar thing had already been done to it, so that made things a little easier.. Unfortunately i dont have any photos of it.. I have taken sooooo many photos, but i feel like ive taken nowhere near enough..
I'll be shaping the door tomorro..
Just finished the bumper painting today, fitted the drivers door latch, fitted the passenger door, put the handles back on the passenger door, cleaned the passenger window, measured up the deck height on a race motor we're building for someone else - then took it to get machined down.

So really i had quite a slack day today.. im gonna have to pull my finger out tomorro..

Hi All, well I have spent a week sitting by the phn, and running up a big bill trying to book a soda blaster to do the inside of my van. I can tell you if he ever gets the job done I will not be recomending him, unless you have a couple of months to throw away in wasted time. I should'nt be surprised, this is just typical of QLD tradys, well 90% anyhows.  >:( ??? :-\

Just a warning about soda blasting.
A friend of ours got his van done, and has had heaps of touble with the electrics since.
He had left in part of the loom and the soda dust left behind has gotten wet and eaten into the wire connections.  :'(
He had thought he'd gotten rid of all the dust, but some stuck around.
Big vans are BEAUTIFUL...

Thanks for that, I am soda blasting mine before I start the good stuff, I am stripping all my harness, and putting a new one in, also dropping my engine and gearbox, and putting in a new one, if there is anything left it will be getting replaced. So much for being friendly stuff, if it eats through wire hate to see what it would do to your gut. LOL  ;D ;D :o

Scored a 202 red motor and auto gearbox that has only done approx. 40,000km since a rebuild three years ago.! And the best bit FREE! ;D The only things missing are the starter,carby/manifold and dizzy. Came with a transmission cooler. All new rods/pistons new bearings and balanced! Handy to have for a spare setup if my motor lets go for some reason.
