Hey Mezzmo...Talk about squeeky clean lines mate! :o How did the painter go with over spray on your pre-painted frontend? Any thing you might have to redo?  It is so nice to see a beddie with new paint . ;D Time to put the jigsaw back together now....

looks fantastic mezzmo, how long will you have to wait for the paint to harden before you can reassemble? cant wait to see pics of it all reassembled will look shit hot. Again well done and probably worth the wait.

Cheers Jeff

The paint was baked so i've started the slow assembly process already. Johnno, the painter was really careful, my biggest problem was the soda blasting, it kind of stripped a fair bit of my work DOH! such is life......looks like i'll be dropping the front end and redoing it again!

Really happy with the result tho - hoping she'll be finished in time for the Nats - fingers crossed.

Thanks Marty, yeah i'm hanging to take her for a run but i have to be realistic - my aim is for the Nats but even then i think i'll be stretching it a bit!

finished cutting the rust out of the bonnet......repaired and flushed the passenger side door [Ben had placed an new section in the bottom that needed to be smoothed off....nice job though Ben] Got the flare kit and fibroglass bonnet fron Ben as well although they wont go on until after rego.....bonnet fits up a treat.....just gotta make a slight adjustment to one of my hinges to make it fit a little bit more snug.....looks great on......will take some photos soon......off to play at a big blues festival this weekend in Bridgetown so i wont get it in primer til the week after. Having to be away with work allot has also put me behind schedule. Off to Narrogin next week so i will rip the front end, motor and tranny out of the donor van and grab the headlights and windscreen as well....the body work has come up pretty good on the truck, but once it's rego'd it will be off to the panel shop [after i take back to bare metal] to get the flares and spoiler fitted along with a proffessional straighten and paint job.....i'm excited......oh and my diff guy is going to graft a 9 inch center into the diff i get off Craig and is going to set it up with HQ pattern axles.....then it's off to the mag shop.....ewwww beeeeeewdy
