Went to go to a family re union in Perth, got nearly to Mandurah and the clutch cable broke!! WOW, what a noise! I thought the damn thing had blown up!! Hubby laughed at me, said everything was cool, and drove to Mandurah with out a clutch. He can change gears without a clutch better than I can with one!! MEN!!!! Rang everyone to change venues, and had a great day.
Sooooo, he had had it pulled apart to put in a new clutch and cable. We decided to put in a regular clutch cos I have a hard time with the heavy duty one that is in there. He has also changed all the breaks and wheels bearings and given it a clean. Gotten a new set of T/A's, 275's. They look GOOOD.  Also getting a new dizzy. Our son is helping him cos he wants to drive it this weekend, looks like I may have lost my ride :(

I wish my old girl had a beddy when I was a young gun. Those boys must be two VERY HAPPY kids right now!
Rocking up to any "do" with your rig + trailer ensemble would make for a nice entrance.

Your a good mother lol  :D :D :D

Took us 3 days to get the correct thrust bearing. Turns out everything is Holden except for the clutch plate. My son wore the gearbox oil. THAT was funny!!! The new clutch is sweet, not hard at all. Hubby and son had a great time under the van covered in oil.
Beddy is back on the road for half an hour and the son is off to Busselton for tonight and then to Dunsborough tomorrow. Yep, lost it again :(

G'day
I was in Sydney at the Atomic Live Conference at Olympic Park.
I had a great time checking out the semi naked girls, getting free stuff thrown AT me, watching the Gaming Championships and meeting quite a few people that I knew including one of the founding members of BOSCA, Derek May. Man, he got old. And he is younger than me!!!

I did get some grief from the "Security Staff":

The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!
