Hi everyone....Just measured my tailshaft...1.850 metres approx. Transit tailshaft was to expensive to buy second hand $600.00 -$1200.00 !! and then i would have to cut it down. So i will be going to see some fellows at a place called Hardy Spicer in Welshpool. They are the driveshaft and uni-joint specialists. I will post up some pics of my troublesome tailshaft tonight.
cheers...johnno ;D :D

No thanks Ben...I think i will have to have it custom made for my truck. Below are some pics of the bugger..

And the last pic is of the badly designed centre bearing set-up.

i have a 2 piece shaft here also but its floppen around all over the place.. and i asume it has the same problem as what you have with your shaft lol.. the blok ei bought the truck off thought it had a busted diff thou..  he also tried to tell me it had a bent chassis.. the chassis is straight as. just the left front end bolt holding it to the plate that bolts to the chassis is loose as and the whole front end moves front and back when brakes applyed lol!!!
