welllll.....

i just had the front of my Mitsubishi pushed in....

i was taking the kids to school and a lady pulled out from a side street a little bit so i hovered over the brake... she then seemed to change her mind and slowed a little so i went back to the go pedal.

that is when she decided that all was clear and hit the gas right in front of me... everything went slow mow and she put her hands up to protect her face as she suddenly realized their was a actual car and it was within meters....

i slammed on the anchors but alas mine and her fate was sealed...

bang!!!!!!!!

my kids are fine... she was very old and shaking badly, i asked her the only question that matters (are you insured)  then after a few phone calls i asked if i could take her home if my damage was not to great..... it was drivable but lacking lights, i asked where to and she gave me the address next to my house..... i said ow.... you are the new neighbours :o

shhhiiiiiit.  van is at the panel beaters... they say its fixable but its up to her insurance...

this is one circumstance im happy to not have the beddy on the road yet ;)

some good news at least.... im borrowing a friends Holden station wagon for a few weeks untill the misashity is back on the road.... it has a 308.

when you have been driving around on three and a half cylinders for as long as i have its like your birth day every damn time you tickle the go peddle.

Both me and my wife have hit the neighbours over the road on different occaisions over the last 10 years.  I backed my bedford into the visiting father-in-law and my wife used our other car on their pool cleaner.
They are not as friendly as they used to be, no idea why.
It is all OK though the bedford wasnt hurt.

Also check the bearing caps....mine are different on both sets...new ones sit on outside..old ones in bearing sleeve
