Been looking into fiberglassing again,
Thinking of laying up a few vk commodore bedford fronts up.
Anyone interested in 1?
Its the front like on that pink cab chassis for sale from kurri kurri
Also 1 piece rear doors, side doors, spoilers etc.
Hotrod guards, bonnets, doors etc.

Anyone know where i can pickup a fiberglass chopper gun system in sydney area?

Been doing a lot of research on backhoes, better than a bobcat, :)
Going to buy this in 3 weeks if its still available,  :)
Going to have some fun cleaning out my creek. And levelling some of the paddocks .

Rumax, with a single carby, a bit more compression, mild cam and some headers you can easily have 3 times that much power.

With no restrictions on what you are *allowed* to do, you could have even more than that.

The toranas up at the track are allowed to run triple carbys, big cams etc, and are getting around the 300rwhp mark.

Don't give up on the old red 6 too soon ;) My HQ gives my Bedford a run for its money, 202 vs 350

Went to a swap meet on the weekend trying to find the indicator holders I'm after (no luck) but did find this and couldn't pass it up.

Measures 170mm tall, 140mm wide and is 10mm thick (not solid)
Think it's off a TK Bedford Truck

There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

I agree, I can certainly tell you doubling the wheel HP is pretty easy, my mates 202 made 110hp at wheels with cam, compression increase and mildest of head port jobs, and I got 140hp at wheels with more work in my 202, and it had 1500-5000rpm range so was very drivable!
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

I seriously don't know what to do... having just spent well over $1000 on getting my Bedford "right" I still am getting only 14 mpg on a 500km trip, cruising on 80-90KM, using 91 octane fuel. So what have I done/got.... recon blue head (new valves/inserts) on a 186. Average 140 PSI (minimum on all cylinders), 186 carb, extractors, trimatic and 3.5 chev 12 bolt with duel rear wheels. electronic ignition.. No idea what the coil is, but plugs gapped at (I think) .8.....  I thought it was a HEI coil, but the tuner said otherwise. I am about to embark on a road trip to WA (watch out you WA BUGA's).. WTF should I do. Thinking of getting a HEI coil and regapping the plugs to 1.3 mm... Oh and BTW, the consumption figure is similar to what I got before spending the $$... Not a happy camper!

Yeah id put the good coil on it Russell,
And do the plug gaps.
The elec dissy,s need the powerful coils.
Are the plugs black with unburnt fuel?

also if your installing an electronic dizzy and coil make sure you are getting full 12v to the coil with the engine running!

easy way to fix it is to install a relay from the battery to provide 12V and use the original coil wire to turn the relay on!

you'll be pissing into the wind if you have the HEI without 12v :)

also with a HEI you should be able to go to 1.5-1.6 plug gaps without it missing.

also like marishka says, check the plugs, maybe everything's ok but its pouring the fuel in, if the plug is too light its too lean and if its too dark its too rich generally!
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!
