wow that's some serious work there vanwolf!! :)

myself I have been playing with wiper motor conversion to use commodore motor, and also pulling all the dash out and started making the V8 engine cover :) slow but its progress!
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Holy crap Vanwolf, you've really dissected that van!

Here's some not too polished chop and paste I did this morning in Microsoft Paint while procrastinating.. from this..

needs chopping..

too high..

added rear guards, delete door handle & fuel filler..

For a 'real world' chop I think leaning the angle of the front pillars back would work better, plus the front would need extending/customising..

More what have I been up to this month! Lets start at the beginning…. I went to get my CF tuned on a rolling road early Feb, only to be told the compression is up the creek (big time) and it’s all head related. Had a head job (new valves, inserts, machining etc) … yes, keep those thoughts to yourself…. Compression now 140+ ..Went back to the rolling road .. had the dissy re-graphed, new plugs etc and ended up with another 50% HP and better burn. Final numbers were 67.6 HP (50.4 kw) at rear wheels on normal unleaded. Remembering this is a duel rear wheel with a 186, VH dissy (electronic or are they HEI) and traumatic! Max HP was at about 3500 RPM. Happy camper (I think)… Might have to have a serious think about that V8 conversion… any thoughts?

Oh and if anybody saw a certain car race during the last few days... I was the guy in the black top and tan akubra.....  8) 8) 8) ;)
Workin for the weekend!

V8 is always an option, but there is also a lot more to be had from a holden 6 if you want to stay that way ?
