Wow that's excellent Bas,
I like how you have made it interchangeable
from left to right hand sides.

Update on forklift=
Starts and runs well, but the hydrolics for mast tilt and raise forks
Not working , so I've got a bit of nutting out to do,:).
Shouldn't be too hard to sort out.

The mate that gave it to me also gave me a sandblasting cabinet unit.
It's an old Raaf one. Just needs a tidy up, a lick of paint, new gloves and viewing glass and Fluro light.
Far out I've had a great few weeks, :)

Yeah Gunning would prob get bogged in soft ground ,
but she has big pump up tyres and the ground is hard as rock
under that green grass.
Lived here 50 years so i know where not to drive her, lol,
Got a tractor n 4x4 if i get her bogged,  ;)

Haha, i knew youd ask Johnno, :D,

It was a disaster that turned out ok,
I took the big counter weight off the back so i could gurnea the places that
I couldnt acess while it was on.
Then there was no place to lock the full gas bottle.
So i figured id just sit it beside me and hold ot as i drove back around
The front yard.
I parked near the tardis.
But then thought why park here in all the gurnea,d off greese and oil n crap etc.
I will park over near my flat front gate, on nice clean green grass.

Thats when the shit hit the fan!
 :o
I started up the motor again, :o :o :o
The motor reved its ringhole out, and it was in foward
So it took off like s drag car, at full revs. :o :o :o
The acellerator linkage had fallen off and was stuck on full throttle.

As it took off the gas bottle fell off the  side and was being dragged along the ground
At super sonic speed,
I pannicked and tried to grab the bottle n half fell out the seat.
Lucky for my quick thinking to turn the key off.
And came to a stop.

Shaking and half freaked out thinking about what could have happened, i gathered  myself and got the gas bottle
Back into its not so good spot.
Put the acellerator linkage back on and tied the bastard there this time with a bit of wire
(Not going through that shit again, lol)

Then Drove over to the spot slowly  and parked her, while the motor was still running i pilled the tilt mast lever and the bloody thing worked :D ;D ;D ;D
Then pulled the lift forks lever and that worked as well. :o :o :o :D ;D

So i thought about it and came to the scientific conclusion that the 30 seconds of the engine reving at full throttle was enough to get the hydroulic oil to suck up the pickup tube and get the hydroulic system primed and working

Hahahaha ;D ;D ;D ;D
I never would have thought of reving it at full throttle to get it to suck up the oil n prime the system.
So a total disaster turned out to be just what was needed to get things happening, :) ;) :D
