What a lot of people don't know that if you'r running duel fuel it isn't tuned properly for petrol or gas so I would go straight gas if you want great mileage now if you build your engine to run straight gas(different cam, valve stem seats) then not only do you get better mileage again but more power than petrol

Yeah your exactly right petrol head...rays been a LPG fitter for many years now and even raced a few cars on straight LPG ! :)
we have wasted a lot of money with some workshops saying they know gas only to find a few 100k later our valves are burnt out...so make sure you get a guy who knows LPG to set up your head and proper valves stc ...some knuckle heads out there got no idea ...much to rays frustration. we are now getting our 173 high compression head redone again :(

Ok Restoreid we have mount 140 liter gas tank across the van in side, in front of the wheel arches. since we have no side doors (due to sliders) our access is thru the back. we have a raised floor/bed so we can put tall things in the back...pics in my gallery. im on page 5 in gallery or link following

Hi Wendy,

See below pic of my engine cover. I got drink holders of ebay. I installed speakers in engine cover as I do not like the idea of cutting speakers into doors and front kick panels only sees speakers get trashed by drivers and passengers feet. I have conduit i feed speaker cable through and pull cup holder out to connect wires to speaker which is simple bullet connectors with marking on wires to identify.

Just to give you some ideas.

I've been working on my custom van again - wahoo

Been doing the bonnet, I now have a bonnet that opens forward. Have done the main latch and safety catch, still need to find a way to lock it in open position and lock the back of it down.

Was only a short trip this time, am back home tomorrow or tuesday (depends on weather), but that's ok as I now need to source some parts (stuff I'd given away of all things).
Next trip I hope to get the (old) engine bay finished, van jacked up and suspension removed and seal and underseal under the front (back 2/3 already done), then a little bit of bog on the bonnet and front guards then that will be all the body work finished. Then onto the dash (still looking for gauges), engine cover, finish off whatever else needs finishing then buy a battery and another test run. This time hopefully I'll get a video of it moving or at least running.
The end is near :D
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"
