Gordon, think Black looks good , but Verena's not to keen, also like the colour of Davids ex van below, he said it vas a Silver base, as I will do a White base. but then when the time comes who knows...

Sorry forgot about the linking. Cheers

For some reason the Turbo mags look good on the van, they suit it...

it doesn't allow linking from my site
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

Last 2 weeks, the 253 came out, made up engine mounts for V6 and V6 sitting in it place.  :) :)  mock up engine mounts, even made up the engine mount with the air con bracket. use 186 rubber engine mounts and vn v6 gearbox mount grafted onto Gearbox cross member...  so will have a power steering and air con.   No I wont be making up the finished mounts had them done by a engineering place so I know they will be strong enough.    Now I have been grounded for a few weeks due to hernia operation and not allowed to lift anything heavy.   :(
Nothing is impossible it just takes a bit longer

Hi Aussie, yes there are a few changes, when i did mine i had to get a shortened tail shaft made up, and the opening in the cab is a lot bigger. You will find the engine cover opening comes very close to the steering column where it goes through the floor. In your case the peddles may have to be modified. For me it was not a problem, as i don't have legs, so i don't use the peddles.

Hi Aussie,  I have put up a couple of pics, in my gallery, but they are of  V8 out and V6 ready to go in and of the engine mounts that I made up to suit.  I also made up the passenger side  mount combined with Air Con bracket so it will have Air Con and Power steering.  Haven't got transit power steering unit yet but that is in the pipe line.
No I am not using my engine mounts.  I just made up the proto type made sure they fitted and A/C pump fitted and in line for belt to run properly, need to get a slightly longer belt.  Had a local engineering firm make up the mounts saved some cash  by me making them up first.
As I already had  the 8  in I  only had to trim out an inch or so to give enough clearance for the 6.
The 6 is in place have to take some pics of it in place and post them up as well... Using  the VN gear box mount and have had it grafted onto the beddie cross member, just have to get the man around to attach the cross member to the cross member brackets.
I've had a look at pics of Georges V6 mine seems to sit a bit higher, but cant get it any lower.  could  just be the pics though...
Have to get a new tailshaft made and angle between the gearbox and diff is not a major concern as long as they are in line.   More to follow, its only taken me 5 years so far but should/ will be going in a month or so.
