Actually you will want the steering column out while you get the basic structure in for your dash. It will be in and out quite a number of times especially while you are working out where the instrumentation needs to sit. Makes life a whole lot easier. You will need the seat in for that as well. If your new drivers seat is going in the same location and same height then it is good to work with the old one. Means you don't have to be quite as careful and if it gets a welding burn you won't feel the need to cry.

pair of seats arrived by courier from sydney... rear seats with belts. I thought I'd see the engineer before bolting them in, just incase there are some rules I am not aware of. Anyone know where in Melbs I can find someone to legalise rear seats in a LWB beddie?

Oh and It was me who got the jelly beans on ebay. Not too many drum setups around. The jelly bean is my mag of choice. Only 207 bucks and near my place, so worth the risk.

RWC again tomorrow.

Started work on the van today, finishing off the XD front bonnet scoop, done it a bit different form all the others, will post pictures as I go along if anyone is interested.  :) V6 transplant booked in, in 4 weeks time, should uplift the power department a litte, worked 202 will go back in the Black Beddie.
