Well it was a very big week for me......listed my PA on Ebay.....got to share the stage with Geoff Achison at the Albany Blues Club when he jumped up and joined our band......then the week culminated yesterday with taking the new V8 Beddy truck for a quick spin around the neighbourhood......truck drives and goes really well......steering is smooth and it has a fair amount of grunt. Few niggling issues to deal with but all good so far.....also managed to clear some room in the garage and park it in there outta of the miserable Albany weather where it has been sitting for the last month......my other truck goes into the brake shop later this week or early next week to get the brakes all sorted.....then all i gotta do for rego is to trim it inside, built the tray, install a windscreen washer bottle and new seat belts and she is done...........stay tuned.

Well the last six days have been good to me.
Thanks to a tip off from Jim, I bought my first Bedford last Wednesday.
I have torn out the back seats, bed, etc.
I have cut the faded and powdery paint and discovered it comes up just fine.
I have taken it to ABS and discovered the brakes are cool and just need new shoes.
I have asked them to put a new clutch in.
I have bought super thick porno sheepskin seat covers on ebay.
I have advertised my Tran%$t for 300 bucks on gumtree.

WEEK 2 I plan on ...
getting details ready for the RWC

looking out for jellybean mags

working out a 'look' for the van. It will start duties as a classic scooter rescue vehicle very soon, so will have to look cool. (even more cool than stock). Any ideas???

steal the new tyres off the trans&t before it goes to heaven.

get the gas looked at. I have absolutely NO IDEA how to trouble shoot a dickie LPG system. The compliance plate says 2006 so it should be simple.

derek

How about getting a scooter airbrushed on the side, so the scooter wheels are the bedfords wheels ... otherwise flames are always cool  ;D
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"
