hey bas, any pics of the floor cut out, from inside, and below would be great, thats where we are up to now. From below there is a small rib in the floor at the back of the standard floor hole, we think we have to cut into this rib, but are not sure if it is structual, being so small. So any overhead pics would be great, and any reference points that we can use.
thanks mate.

No prob George, will take a full set of photos from top and bottom, this should give you a very good idea. But I am sure you won't need to cut into this rib. If the motor is mounted forward as the Holden 202, because the 202's are longer. Bas

shes cool marty, i can laugh at myself now.  ;D ;D  its  been ten years, dont get me wrong, i would do anything to be able to walk again, but it will never happen, so i have to accept being in a wheelchair. Hey, i do more from a chair then most of  the people i know that are able bodied so, i can still work on my van, i'm happy.  ;D ;D ;D

hey bas, the v6 sits back of the front cross member, the actual engine mounts are set at the back of the cross member, so i am assuming we have to cut the floor back towards the seats. we did some basic measurments yesterday, but we will know more next week when we get stuck into it fully, this time next week i hope to report, mission acomplished, engine fitted.  ;D ;D ???

Today I rode to Mt Eliza on a '62 lambretta scooter with 30 assorted mods, skinheads, rude boys and scooterboys. All on classic 2-stroke Italian scooters. All I could think of was I wonder if any vans have come up for sale. (in my price range)
I know I have the bug when I start buying manuals.
There must be a multiple bedford owner out there who needs a one tonner.
derek

Kirk, awhile back you asked me about air brushing. Well, while having a beer with Bruce, l bought it up and he would like to do a van, and would love to do a full nude cos you don't see them any more. It's up to you what you do. But you should of seen his eyes light up when he thought of a nude(maybe it was frustration) ;D

hey rossie, do us a favor, make sure you photograph the whole thing for us. I have seen a few air brush guys at work over the years, and they are true artists. Can your mate do true fire ?

George his bike is done in true fire, he done a tiger that you have to look at twise to reaiise its painted cos it looks like a big photo. he is real good, maybe thats why he teach's the stuff. Linda my wife has been doing it for about three years with Bruce and l even done it for a year, but l'm not good enouth and my wife lacks the confidence but has the talent. l will try and get some photos but l dont know how to put them on, Ms Wrinkles, the wife laughs at me now when she sees me typing to you guys ;D :D
